Pinstripe Bowl Game Program
Official Game Program of the New Era Pinstripe Bowl

The anticipation of the college football bowl season returns to the grand stage of Yankee Stadium in 2019.

The 2019 holiday season marks the continuation of an exciting college football tradition in New York City, as the best of the Atlantic Coast and Big Ten conferences clash in the tenth annual New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

The 2019 New Era Pinstripe Bowl is scheduled to kick off at Yankee Stadium at 3:20 p.m. on Friday, December 27, pitting schools representing the Big Ten Conference and the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Established in 2010, the New Era Pinstripe Bowl has featured some of the most memorable moments in recent college football history. Known as “New York’s Bowl Game,” it is played at the world-renowned Yankee Stadium, which is home to the New York Yankees, New York City Football Club and many other sporting, cultural and business events.

This year’s game will be nationally televised by ESPN, which has also secured national and local radio rights for ESPN Radio.

For up-to-the-moment information regarding the game, fans are encouraged to visit www.pinstripebowl.com, the offi cial website of the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, and follow the Bowl game’s offi cial Twitter and Instagram accounts — @PinstripeBowl.

As opposed to the majority of bowl games played in tropical climates, New York in the winter always makes the New Era Pinstripe Bowl a special and unique event. The game, which will be played for the 10th time this year, always manages to produce drama — and star power. Last year, the University of Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor ran for 205 yards and a touchdown en route to winning MVP honors in Wisconsin’s 35-3 victory of the University of Miami. Taylor is a favorite for the 2019 Heisman Trophy, which is no surprise to the nearly 40,000 fans who were at Yankee Stadium last December, or the nearly 4 million viewers watching on ESPN.

The New Era Pinstripe Bowl continues to grow in both popularity and viewership each year.

The festivities will begin days earlier with players, coaches and university staff taking part in a variety of events in the days leading up to the game, showcasing their respective universities to the New York metropolitan area. Special events, promotions and community outreach will take place throughout New York City during the week of the bowl game to once again create an unforgettable experience for fans, families, players and staffs of the two teams.

The New Era Pinstripe Bowl game further continues the rich tradition of football at Yankee Stadium, which has hosted historic contests such as “The Greatest Game Ever Played” between the Giants and Colts in 1958, and Army vs. Notre Dame in 1928, remembered for the “Win One for the Gipper” halftime speech to the Notre Dame players, delivered by Knute Rockne.

With the New Era Pinstripe Bowl as the fi nal event of 2019, it marks yet another example of how Yankee Stadium is home to history of all kinds — transcending sports, culture and geography.

Be part of the excitement by placing an ad in the 2019 New Era Pinstripe Bowl Game Program, through Playmakers Media, the exclusive print ad sales agency for all offi cial New York Yankees publications. It’s your ticket to the biggest game in town!
